Rollins MBA at Crummer School Ranked 37th Nationally by Forbes Magazine

August 19, 2007

Program Remains No. 1 in Florida

The MBA program at the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business was ranked number 37 nationally for return on investment by Forbes magazine. The Crummer School moved up 10 slots in this biennial ranking and remains number one in Florida. This marks the third consecutive time the Crummer School was recognized by Forbes.

“We are extremely pleased with our performance and to be ranked along side some of the best schools in the country such as Dartmouth, Stanford and Harvard,” said Crummer School Dean Craig McAllaster. “Once again, Forbes magazine has confirmed what our faculty, students, alumni and corporate recruiters already know, that the Crummer School at Rollins College prepares MBA students to be managers and leaders in a way that provides our stakeholders with real value and a world-class business education of distinction.

The Forbes study will be published in the September 3 issue of the magazine. “Based on return on investment, this ranking provides an unbiased evaluation of the economic value of a Crummer School degree,” said McAllaster. Unlike other surveys, Forbes conducted a comprehensive ranking of business schools that compared the cost of attaining an MBA to the monetary rewards for obtaining the degree. In computing the rankings, Forbes calculated that a Rollins full-time MBA degree, through increased earning potential, pays for itself in slightly more than three years and provides as much as a 72 percent return on investment.

The Crummer Graduate School of Business was founded in 1957 at Rollins College. Today, the Crummer School offers four personalized MBA programs which are fully accredited by AACSB International (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), the premier accrediting agency for business schools. Because of the Crummer School’s high admission standards, focus on real-world experience, curriculum tailored to meet today’s business needs, small classes, and intense instruction by a distinguished senior faculty, graduates of the Crummer School consistently receive job offers with the most prestigious national and international organizations.
