Rollins to Host 13th Annual Halloween Howl
October 19, 2005
Halloween Howl Offers Safe, Daytime Celebration
The 13th annual Halloween Howl will be held on Saturday, October 29 from noon to 3 p.m. on Mills Lawn. The event is free and open to the public.
Halloween Howl is a carnival for local children and their families that includes games, trick-or-treating, haunted houses and fun prizes. Residence halls and other buildings transform into haunted houses. Student organizations throughout campus sponsor booths such as face painting, popcorn and games. Last year, more than 400 children attended.
Halloween Howl is organized and run by students with sponsorships from the Residence Hall Association and Student Government Association and donations given by faculty, staff and students. For more information about making a monetary donation toward Halloween Howl, e-mail Jeff Cooper at wcooper@rollins.edu. If you are able to donate candy, please send it to Box 2737, care of Jeff Cooper, or bring it to the Residential Life Office located in McKean Hall.
